Vilnius
This project is based on the many changes that Lithuania has experienced during the past thirty years after gaining independence from USSR and becoming a member state of the EU. Influences from Russia and the West continually challenged and questioned the country’s cultural identity. It is this state of flux that informs my images. They were made in an area of Vilnius that is in transition, an area on the edge of change.

Books
The book "Population: 5" was one of main projects in my degree show. It contains pictures from Dubininkai village in Lithuania and my personal memories from this place. Designed by Juliana Press.
The other book "In these parks" represents botanic gardens series taken last autumn. Text by Jurij Dobriakov. Design by Marija Kisieliute.
